"Beverage of Life"
Aztec Style Hot Chocolate for Two

2 cups 0rganic Plain or Vanilla Soy Milk
1/8 tsp chili powder
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper corns
1/8 tsp vanilla
2 ounces of high cocoa content dark chocolate * OR
2 tbsp of pure cocoa powder

The first five ingredients are the basic Aztec recipe with Soy Milk
substituted for water. If you want to add a little more zip or spice,
try adding the following three as well.

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp ground ginger

This is a recipe for two, so just cut the ingredients in half when making only one cup.

Slowly warm the soy milk over medium heat, add each of the spices, adding the chocolate last and mixing well. Heat until the mixture begins to steam, pour into mugs and enjoy.

Experiment with the spices and quantities of spices you add because you may prefer just the first three, or more chili, or less cinnamon, or no ginger. Find the mix you like.

Deliciously healthy and very high in antioxidants!

[You can make this delicious and healthy hot cocoa for two without the extra calories contained in real chocolate when you make it with real, pure cocoa powder and 2-tsp of organic brown cane sugar for excellent results without most of the calories. (1 tbsp cocoa = 13 calories; 1 tsp pure cane sugar = 12 calories; 1 cup vanilla soy mild = 90 calories.)

[*Or, if you're not concerned about the extra calories, use dark chocolate containing 70% cocoa content or more. Two Dove Dark Chocolate Promise chocolates work well and are higher in antioxidants content than any dark chocolate, because they contain Cocoapro cocoa, a proprietary, specially processed cocoa that contains super high levels of antioxidants.]

Heart Association 7-Day Eating Plan

This diet plan was originally designed for overweight heart patients who needed to lose weight quickly before surgery and if you don't cheat, at the end of seven days you will have lost an amazing 10 to 17 pounds.

DAY 1: All fruits, except bananas. Eat all the fresh fruit you want, cantaloupes and watermelon are lower in calories than most fruits. Today eat only fruit and soup.

DAY 2: Eat raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Eat green leafy veggies and stay away from peas, beans and corn. Eat all the veggies you want, along with the soup. At dinner reward yourself with a baked potato. Absolutely NO butter. No fruit.

DAY 3: Mix Day 1 and Day 2 together. Eat all the fruit and veggies you want, along with the soup. No baked potato today.

DAY 4: Bananas and skim milk. Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk, along with your soup. Your body will need the potassium, protein and calcium to lessen cravings for sweets. You can make banana milkshakes by using frozen bananas blended with the skim milk.

DAY 5: Beef and tomatoes today. Eat 10-20 ounces of beef and up to 6 fresh tomatoes. Drink 5 to 8 glasses of water to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat soup at least once today.

DAY 6: Beef and veggies today. Eat to your heart's content of beef and veggies today. You can have 2 or 3 steaks as long as you eat green, leafy veggies with them. No baked potato. Eat soup at least once today.

DAY 7: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and veggies today. Stuff yourself. Be sure to eat the soup at least once today.

At the end of your seven days, if you haven't cheated, you will have lost 10 to 17 pounds. I've used this plan several times myself and it really works. If you've lost more than 15 pounds, go off the eating plan for two to three days before going back on it again.

This seven day eating plan can be used as often as you like. Correctly followed, it will clean your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well-being like never before.

After only a few days of this eating plan, you will begin to feel lighter and have an abundance of energy. Continue this plan as long as you wish to feel the difference.

This is a fast fat burning diet and the secret is that you'll burn more calories than you take in.

This eating plan does NOT lend itself to drinking alcoholic beverages. Because of the removal of fat buildup in your system, go off the diet for at least 24 hours before any intake of alcohol.

Because everyone's digestive system is different, this diet will affect everyone differently. After Day 3, you will have more energy, if you do not cheat. If after being on the eating plan several days, you find your bowel movements have changed, eat one cup of bran and fiber.

Although you can have sugarless black coffee with this diet, you may find you won't want the caffeine after the 3rd day. Here's the soup recipe that goes along with this fat burning eating plan.

Fat Burning Soup

6 large green onions
2 large green peppers
1 28-oz tin diced tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
2 bouillon cubes
Salt, pepper, thyme, basil, etc.

Cut the vegetables into small to medium pieces and cover with 6 cups of water. Mix in the bouillon cubes, spices and herbs. Boil fast for 10 minutes.

Eat as much of this soup as you want, whenever you want, at any time of the day. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you will lose. Drink sugarless tea, coffee, cranberry/grape juice, or water.

You won't have difficulty eating lots of this healthy soup because it tastes great!
