"In Home Pollution Check"

Most of us are living in areas where there are large amounts of airborne chemicals floating about. This will put a great daily stress on your detoxification system thereby using up energy to fight off all this pollution, which could be put to better use.

Thankfully, some vehicle manufacturers are beginning to create zero emission vehicles and personally I can’t wait for the time when all vehicles MUST be zero emission so that we can stop our over-dependence on fossil fuel use and get the earth back to health.

As well, many public places, offices and work areas are now smoke-free zones and hopefully once man finally realizes the great ongoing harm being done to the environment and all living things in it and smoking becomes an addiction of the past, the world will breathe fresh air again.

In the meantime, there are things you can do to assess and improve upon the quality of the air you breathe in your home.

Here’s your in home pollution check list and if you have a great number of these products in and around your home, chances are that the level of chemical contamination of your home is high, which means this is very likely to cause you and your family members problems.

Count all the aerosol sprays in your home, garden shed and garage. This includes hair sprays, deodorants, shaving creams, air fresheners, cleaners and polishes, laundry sprays and stain removal sprays, paint sprays, bug sprays, pet flea sprays, insecticide sprays, and even that spray you use to spray on your frying pan.

Next, count all the flea collars for cats and dogs and insecticidal shampoos you have in your home and any pesticides or insecticides you use in your garden.

Now, how many long lasting air fresheners or deodorizers do you have in your home, including the kitchen, bathroom and car?

Look under the sink in the kitchen and bathroom and count how many cleaning products you have that contain harmful chemicals and don’t forget to check what’s in your shampoo and cream rinse bottles, too.

Do you have a filter on your shower or bath to remove toxic chemicals from your water source as well as in your drinking water?

Have you thought about getting a good negative ionizer unit in your home to remove all those harmful airborne contaminants, irritants and allergy causing dust, molds and mildews while at the same time increasing healthy negative ion output?

When you eliminate all the harmful sprays and chemically laden products in your own home, and take a few simple steps, such as filtering bath and shower water along with your drinking water, filtering your air and using only cleaners that are not harmful to you or the environment, you and your family will just start to feel better all over.

Slowly begin to eliminate these toxic collections in your home environment because this will go a long way to helping you and your family live a long and healthy life naturally.
